At 5pm on September 22nd, we cutover email services from s5.modernearth.net to one of our local servers. In order to fix the most common issue as a result of this cutover, please do the following:
- In your email program (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc.), find your hostname/server settings for your email account. These are generally found under menus with names like Accounts, Tools, File, or something else to that effect.
- Replace s5.modernearth.net with whm17.100percenthost.net
- Save your new settings, and let your mail application verify them.
- If successful, try sending/receiving email.
- If not successful, verify port numbers are correct:
Inbound (IMAP with SSL): Port 993
Inbound (IMAP without SSL): 143
Inbound (POP3 with SSL): 995
Inbound (POP3 without SSL): 110
Outbound (with SSL): 465 or 587
Outbound (without SSL): 25 or 587 - Save your new settings, and let your mail application verify them.
- If successful, try sending/receiving email.
- If you’re still unable to send/receive, use our webmail portal until we can connect with you to sort this out. To do this, login here: https://whm17.100percenthost.net:2096 using your email address and password.
- If you are used to logging into cPanel to manage your account information, please use this new link: https://whm16.100percenthost.net/cpanel
